Do I need an LLC to apply?
No. An LLC is not required simply to submit interest. Each vendor is responsible for meeting any business registration, tax, licensing, permit, or other requirements that legally apply to what they sell or provide.
Do I need business insurance?
General liability insurance is recommended. If insurance is required by law, the venue, the City, or your vendor type, proof must be provided before final participation approval.
Can food vendors apply?
Yes. Cottage food operators, food tents, food trucks, and trailers may apply. They must meet all applicable food-safety, health, fire, licensing, and permit requirements for their operation.
Do I have to pay to submit interest?
No. Payment is requested only after participation is approved and the applicable event details, placement, requirements, and price are confirmed.
Does submitting the form guarantee participation?
No. Approval depends on available space, safety, category balance, event requirements, and overall event fit.
Where can I find event dates, locations, and updates?
BUCN shares current event dates, locations, final requirements, and important updates through official BUCN communications and social media.
